Colorado Wheelchair
Softball League
Colorado Wheelchair Softball was founded in 1996 to help promote Coloradoans with disabilities to actively participate in America's Greatest Pastime. Since our inception, we have helped countless individuals with physical impairments learn to compete on an equal yet competitive playing field through the introduction of wheelchair softball.
Many of our players, both past and present, have learned to
become active and productive members of society both directly
and indirectly through the self confidence-building techniques
one learns through sports.
Our mission is to
further support the introduction of the sport to children, women
and minorities with physical disabilities as well as to foster
an avenue for elite athletes to compete at their highest level.

softball in Colorado, please feel free to

2007 Year-end Wrap Up
The Rollin' Rockies had a successful season in 2007 recruiting new local players, sending three players to the MLB All-Star Game's wheelchair softball exhibition, traveling as a team to regional and national tournaments and receiving major media coverage. The program has identified potential and newer established sponsors during the season and is working on building a program rather than just a team - but we need your help. Help sponsor Colorado's only adaptive form of America's Greatest Pastime of its kind. Wheelchair softball is an exciting sport which enables wheelchair athletes of all types of disabilities to compete on an equal yet competitive playing field. Whether you are interested in becoming a player, sponsor or volunteer - we welcomes you to be a part of this exciting program for athletes with physical disabilities in Colorado.

Over 100 people came out to
support our 10 year anniversary celebration on July 19th as we
took on FrontierLiving's softball team which attracted channel 9
News.
After the
game, FrontierLiving invited us to a barbecue at their loft
location next to the Pepsi Center as well as provide us with a
large donation. Thank you FrontierLiving and all those who
have supported us both in the past and present!
